cat took five of us out for the most amazing day around Grizedale. She is great company, really knowledgeable about the area and riding and managed to get maximum performance out of a bunch of new/novice riders. She teaches with patience, has great banter and is just thoroughly enjoyable company. Can’t recommend her enough to help you get the most out of your time in the Lakes.

I did my 2nd guided half day ride with Cat after being impressed with her local knowledge and easy going approach to riding earlier in the year. This time I was guided on an epic trip up Walna Sca. This ride had everything. Big climbs, techy bits and fast descents. Cat is good at letting me make my own decisions on what I feel comfortable to ride. Living in Norfolk is a lot different to the terrain here! Her downhill skills are on a different level. I chose to get off on a couple of occasions to watch how it’s supposed to be done. There is no pressure to go beyond your limit. In her backpack is a magic set of tools and emergency rations for any mishaps, this gives great confidence in remote spots. I would definitely recommend singletrackminds for adventure and grin factor!

We spent an incredible two days exploring the Lake District with Cat, coming from BC, Canada. Cat was a friendly and energetic guide who crafted a wonderful experience for our group. We got a sampler of all the best that Grizedale has to offer and some amazing views of the surrounding areas. I would not hesitate to book with Singletrackminds again! Thank you for a memorable trip!

Thanks to Cat & Dan for a fantastic morning in Grizedale, the trail was fantastic definitely challenging in places especially for a couple of us, but we all had a thoroughly enjoyable day and the kids are most definitely up for it again! Thanks so much for the flawless communication and organising the trip for us all, we will hopefully see you again soon, The Ormishers & Ditchfields

What an awesome ride!
I approached Cat as I was looking for new trails to ride in the Lakes. I was also very aware that my fitness levels weren’t what they used to be and also carrying a bit of that COVID chub did worry me a little.
However, Cat assessed my requirements and chose the perfect trail for us – the Walna Scar.
Whilst there were a few big climbs that required pushing, the descents definitely made up for it! Especially the last one back down to the meet point.
The voews of Coniston Water and surrounding valleys and mountains are just amazing!
So much awesomeness in one ride. Still grinning like a Cheshire cat 😁Honestly, if you need quality guiding that will tick all boxes, look no further!

Cat gave me guided tour while I demoed two bikes from bike treks in Ambleside great day out. Cat was very knowledgeable with regard to bikes & the trails. Look forward to returning in the future for other routes. Excellent service from start to finish from Cat & all about BikeTreks. Thank you.

We had a fantastic day in the Lakes with Cat who is a skilful and knowledgeable mountain bike guide. The ride was exactly what we’d asked for. Looking forward to our next trip with her.
